My map. Going into this game I had no idea who cream was. What I do know however is that the americans are used to playing at higher pings and he was no exception. Unlike some (*cough* VVD *cough*) he also showed up to actually play quake and I'm always game for real dm2 action. Some reckless attacks here and there but overall it was a comfortable win.

His map. I had quite the shitty start on here and after underestimating his lethal shaft in open spaces he had gotten a comfortable lead. I had to play it safe to lower the pace a bit and after some crazy powerup shuffling (had no damn clue what I was doing but it worked) I had finally gained the upper hand and could begin closing in and even pass him on the scoreboard. Due to ring rust I made a stupid decision during the final minutes and the game went into overtime. The map was still open and up for grabs so I secured a lead and kept it. Good games and well played, cream!
