O!K! DuelMania True Masters can start now. The bracket has gone online, and the first round can be played.
The admins will be very strict with the deadlines, so that the tourney can be finished right before christmas. So please arrange your matches ASAP, and message an admin, if your opponent is off, idle or anything. The deadline for round 1 is Thursday 2004-12-09.
Keep in mind that the matches are best-of-five matches, and no map can be played twice!

P.S. The seedings were done as follows:
Players who are the 1st representative of their country came in seeding group 1, 2nd = seeding group 2, and so on.
Then we adjusted those groups slightly with subgroups and the seeding groups got randomized in themselves.

Since some players didn't receive their invitation mail, or had it in their junkmail folder, I just wanted to say that it is not really a problem, because we will try to get hold of the players which didn't confirm their invitation till tomorrow evening, and ask them personally. So, no worries.
The rules for DuelMania[tm] are published now... head over to 'Rules'. They don't differ much from the standard main DuelMania rules, except that the matches are best-of-five all the way, because of the fact that single elimination shouldn't leave much room for wrong mapchoices or other oddities which our beloved game has to offer.
The mappool was decided as follows:
Every section has the mappool base: DM2, DM4, DM6, AEROWALK. So those maps are in the mappool for sure.
As 5.map we choose the map which was used the most as 5.map in the sections, which is ZTNDM3 (used 8 times) beating SKULL (used 2 times).

Welcome to the pages of the duel tourney especially arranged for the best of the localized DuelMania sections.
The tourney will be a 32 single elimination tourney with halfweek rounds starting next monday 2004-12-06. Which means that this tourney will be a very small and compact one, and it should be finished right before christmas.
The number of representative players for each section depends on the number of signups and played matches.
